Whether "Imishli" will hold its home games in the Azerbaijan Premier League at the Guba Olympic Complex depends on the steps the club will take.
Idman.biz reports that this was stated by Sanan Abdullayev, Media and Marketing Director of the PFL, in his statement to "Report".
He stated that the PFL inspected the Guba Olympic Complex: "Based on the appeal of the Imishli club, the PFL inspected the Guba Olympic Complex. It is gratifying that the inspection revealed many positive aspects. There are stands on 3 sides of the stadium and it is suitable for holding games. The stadium's grass cover is natural and in good condition. The irrigation system also meets the standards."
Abdullayev also emphasized that there are shortcomings in the stadium: "The reserve players' bench and technical zone need to be touched up. In general, the situation in the dressing rooms and referees' rooms is normal, but some work needs to be done. A press conference and media work room should be prepared. Work should also be done in the VIP areas and doping room. In addition, some changes are needed for the accommodation and comfort of the fans. In the near future, employees of the "CBC Sport" channel will also inspect the stadium for broadcasting. They will express their wishes for filming platforms and commentator positions. All shortcomings have been sent to the club in detail by the PFL. Whether "Imishli" will hold its home games there depends on the steps the club will take."
It should be noted that it was previously announced that "Turan Tovuz", another representative of the Premier League, will hold its home games at "Azersun Arena", "Kapaz" at the Gabala City Stadium, and "Karvan" at the stadium in Shamakhi.
