A new rule may be implemented in the Spanish La Liga in the 2025/2026 season.
"Report" reports, citing "Goals Side-in El Partidazo de COPE", that the new rule will allow head coaches of football clubs to appeal to VAR twice in each match and request replays of controversial episodes.
According to the source, both request options will remain in effect for the head coach if he changes the initial decision after the episode.
Note that last season "Barcelona" became the champion in La Liga with 88 points, and "Real" (Madrid) took second place with 84 points.
