FIFA referee Elchin Masiyev has received another appointment from UEFA. Sport24.az reports that our representative has earned this opportunity in the semi-final stage of the European Championship among teams consisting of football players under 21 years old, held in Slovakia.
Masiyev will act as the fourth official in the England - Netherlands match. The chief referee of the match will be Vasilios Fotias from Greece. The starting whistle of the match will be blown on June 25 at 23:00 Baku time.
It should be noted that Elchin Masiyev previously officiated the Czech Republic - England (1:3), Georgia - Portugal (0:4) matches in the group stage of the European Championship, and was the fourth official in the Germany - Italy match (3:2) in the 1/4 finals.
