The Azerbaijani wrestlers who will participate in the Yaşar Doğu, Vehbi Emre and Hamit Kaplan memorial tournament in Kocaeli, Turkey, from June 26 to 29, have been determined.
The Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation press service informed "Report" about this.
Members of our national team in all 3 types of wrestling will participate in the traditional competition.
Under the leadership of Greco-Roman wrestling team coach Elvin Mursaliyev, Nihad Guluzade (60 kg), Mahammad Shukruzade (67 kg), Lachin Valiyev and Cocu Samadov (both 87 kg), under the leadership of senior coach of the women's wrestling team Agahuseyn Mustafayev, Asmar Cankurtaran (50 kg), Elnura Mammadova (53 kg), Nargiz Samadova, Gultakin Shirinova (both 55 kg) and Birgul Soltanova (62 kg), and under the leadership of freestyle wrestling coach Taymuraz Kokoyev, Farid Jabbarov, Jabrayil Hajiyev, Sabuhi Amiraslanov (all 79 kg), Ali Tsokayev (86 kg), Sadig Mustafazade (92 kg), Zafar Aliyev (97 kg) and Khetaq Karsanov (125 kg) will compete.
Meetings will start every day at 12:00 Baku time, and medal matches will start at 18:30.
International referees Elgun Mammadov and Samil Fattayev will ensure justice in the tournament.
