Former head coach of "Neftchi" Miodrag Bozovic complained to FIFA about two Iranian clubs he worked for due to financial debt. Sport24.az reports that the Montenegrin specialist made a statement about this to the Russian portal "Championat.com":
"I had two "Esteghlal" teams. I achieved normal results in Ahvaz. We were in ninth or tenth place, which was considered a very good result for the club. But they didn't pay, so I left.
The other "Esteghlal" from Tehran is a big club by Iranian standards. After two months, I was fired and they didn't give me anything. I had to complain to the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber. I'm waiting for an answer."
It should be noted that Bozovic was "at the helm" of the "white-blacks" from the winter of 2024 until the end of the season.
