Final fights took place in boxing competitions at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex within the framework of the III CIS Games.
"Report"'s correspondent sent to the competition reports that Azerbaijani boxer Gular Huseynova (48 kg) won the gold medal by defeating Russian Darya Gavrina.
Aysel Farajova (46 kg), Amina Taghi (50 kg), Jamila Muradli (54 kg), Aynur Ismailova (60 kg) and Fidan Bakarova (63 kg) lost to their opponents in the final and settled for second place.
Aylin Nazarova (46 kg), Zahra Mammadova (52 kg) and Mirrugeyya Azarpour (57 kg) won bronze medals.
Thus, Azerbaijani women boxers finished the tournament with 1 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals.
It should be noted that boxing competitions will end on October 5.
