Two regular season EuroLeague basketball games have been postponed due to the tense situation in the Middle East.
"Report" reports that the tournament's press service has released information on this.
It was reported that the match between the Israeli representatives Maccabi and Hapoel, as well as the match between the Serbian club Partizan and the UAE's Dubai team, have been postponed to a later date. Both matches were scheduled for March 5.
It is worth recalling that on February 28, the US and Israel launched a military operation against Iran. Strikes were carried out on Iran's largest cities, including Tehran. The White House justified the attacks with alleged missile and nuclear threats originating from Tehran.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran, in response, announced the launch of a large-scale operation and announced that strikes had been carried out on targets in Israel. It was also reported that US-owned targets in Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE and Saudi Arabia were also hit.
