"Ordu"'s successful performance in Group B of the Azerbaijan Basketball League is mainly due to a well-structured training process, player discipline, and team spirit.
Idman.Biz reports that this was stated by the team's head coach, Polad Hasanov.
In an interview with Report, the specialist said that everyone in the team knows their role: "I am pleased with the current form of the team. The main reason for this is the well-structured training process, player discipline, and team spirit. Everyone knows their role and tries to fulfill it to the maximum. It is true that there is still a lot of work to be done, but I think we are on the right track. We are focused on getting better every day. The team's desire and struggle are the keys to success."
P. Hasanov also announced the goals for the season: "We are moving forward step by step. Our first goal is to finish first in Group B. We intend to qualify for the play-off stage. But we have no specific goal. We just think it is better to move forward step by step. Of course, we would like to play in the final of the Azerbaijan Championship. We are working for this. Currently, groups A and B are different. That is, this course is sufficient for group B. But to compete in group A, we need to work harder and prepare better. In addition, if we have additional players, we can see "Ordu" in the semi-finals."
It should be noted that "Ordu" is in the first place in Group B with a maximum result of 18 points after 9 rounds. The Baku representative will face "Lankaran" in the X round.
