Shirzad Shirzadov, a basketball player of "Sabah", shared his impressions of the team's preparation at the training camp held in Lithuania.
Idman.biz reports that the player noted that the atmosphere in the team is improving, and the interaction between the basketball players is becoming more coordinated.
"We are preparing at a high level. Of course, fatigue sometimes makes itself felt, but training continues. We played several test games. The meeting with "Zalgiris," which has many experienced basketball players with Euroleague experience, was especially difficult. But now there is a great atmosphere in the team, and we understand each other better from match to match," Shirzadov told the press service.
It should be reminded that "Sabah" will represent Azerbaijan for the first time in the regular season of the FIBA Champions League. At the training camp held in Lithuania, the team won against "Juventus" (90:83), "Gargzday" (96:92) and "Nevezis" (108:82), and lost to "Neptunas" (88:98) and "Zalgiris" (58:75).
