A selection tour for the national basketball team among girls born in 2013, 2014, and 2015 was held in the sports hall of the Azerbaijan Technical University.
The Azerbaijan Basketball Federation informed "Report" about this.
A total of 61 people participated in the selections led by Evren Alkaya, the head coach of our women's national team.
23 of them were selected for the national team and officially taken under the supervision of national coaches.
The organization stated that such selection tours are one of the important steps taken to identify young talents in the country's basketball and to strengthen the national team in the future.
