"My goal in coming here is to help the team." This was stated by Sabah basketball player Trey Sampson in his statement to the club's press service, Sport24.az reports.
The 24-year-old forward commented on his transfer to the Baku representative:
"Before Christmas, my agent called me and said that the Sabah club was interested in my services. I agreed to this transfer. I know a few players at Sabah. For example: Hassani, Duval. Before the transfer, I contacted Trevon Duval. I am glad that I will play on the same team with him. I watched the team's Eurocup matches. They were difficult games. I would like to say to the Sabah fans to continue to follow us, we will try to make them happy."
It should be noted that the American player's last club was the Swiss Lugano Tigers.
