Serbian basketball club "Partizan" has issued an official statement demanding fair refereeing in the EuroLeague.
Idman.Biz reports that the club has highlighted several controversial moments in the first nine games of the season, including a non-existent foul against Jabari Parker in the game against "Milan", not counting the ball going out of bounds in the match against "Barcelona", and the dramatic difference in free throws against "Olympiacos" (31:5).
"Partizan" does not demand special conditions or concessions - we only demand consistent refereeing in the upcoming games and the opportunity to fight for victories on an equal footing.
To ensure fairness, the club will demand an independent review of refereeing after each game and aims to raise this essential aspect of the competition to a level that provides a level playing field for all," the statement said.
