Former Los Angeles Lakers defender and three-time National Basketball Association (NBA) champion Brian Shaw shared an interesting memory of the legendary Kobe Bryant. İdman.biz reports this with reference to foreign media.
"One morning I invited him to go fishing, but he didn't come. Later, I sent him photos of the shark I caught," Shaw said.
Shaw said that after taking a picture with the fish, he released it back into the water. Bryant's subsequent behavior surprised Shaw.
"He asked me why I released it. I wondered what else I could do in this situation. He said, "You should have killed it." I asked why. He replied that it was caught, so it should die. That was his life philosophy," Shaw concluded.
Kobe Bryant, 41, died on January 26, 2020, in Calabasas, California, in a crash of his private Sikorsky S-76 helicopter. His 13-year-old daughter Gianna and 8 other people, including family friends, also died in the accident.
