In the second match of the playoff stage of the Azerbaijan Basketball League against "Ordu", the players of "Ganja" showed character. Sport24.az reports that this was stated by Halil Atlı, the head coach of the Ganja representative, in a statement to the club's press service.
"I think we showed character on the court. But on the other hand, if there is an opinion to be addressed to the referees, I wish we would continue this season with locals. Because there was very good management. Their work and skills are great. I was easily sent off in today's match. We couldn't even establish communication with the referees. I will not comment on the game. Everything is obvious, there are uncalled whistles," he emphasized.
Halil Atlı spoke about the next game:
"I congratulate my team and my assistants. The coaches were very supportive of the team after I was removed from the field. There is one more game. We will focus and do what is necessary to pass the tour."
The match held at the Ganja Sports Palace ended with the victory of the home team – 85:78. Since "Ordu" won the first match (108:106), the team that will advance to the semi-finals will be determined in the third match.
