Halil Atlı, the head coach of the "Ganja" basketball team, made a statement to the club's press service after the victory over "Ordu" and their promotion to the semi-finals.
Idman.Biz reports that the expert highly appreciated the difficulty of the play-off stage and the determination shown by his team.
"I think we played the most difficult matches for the semi-finals with the first team of Group B. In the end, we are happy to pass the stage after tense games. I congratulate my team, I am proud of them. They played great. Last season we stopped in the play-offs. Now we have done a lot more than that," said Atlı.
The head coach, touching on the strength of the opponent in the semi-finals, also appealed to the fans:
"Our opponent in the semi-finals is the strongest in the league. It is not easy to play series matches. We are going through a tense period, and it will continue like this. We are aware of this. I trust my team. We have a team that loves to fight. Our fans also motivate us to do this. I will be waiting for them at home and away games. I want the stands to be full. Because the opponent is also strong. We are at a very serious point. I am happy, I hope we will do our best to pass this stage as well."
