The head of the Federation stated that the season was successful for our basketball. He emphasized that there may be certain changes in the format of the new season: "It was an interesting championship. We can say that the Azerbaijan Basketball League has taken another step forward. We plan to organize a more interesting championship in the next stages. We watched a match that took place in a tense struggle. Both teams performed well enough. I congratulate "Sabah" on their championship. It should be noted that "Absheron" and "Shaki" were the most surprising clubs of this season. I hope we will watch a more interesting championship next season."
It should be noted that the 6th game in the final series between "Neftchi" and "Sabah" took place today. In the match held at the Baku Sports Palace, "Sabah" won its 4th victory in the series and won gold medals for the 3rd time in a row.
