"Ordu" team will eliminate mistakes in the third game of the 1/4 final stage of the Azerbaijan Basketball League against "Ganja".

This was stated by the captain of the "soldiers", Elshad Shirzadov.

He said that they made some mistakes in the second match of the round, which they lost to this opponent with a score of 78:85.

"The series has already moved to the third match. This time I hope that we will do our best and win. The reason for the defeat in Ganja was due to loss of the ball. We made unnecessary turnovers. I believe that we will eliminate all shortcomings, mistakes and win in the third duel," he said in a statement to report.az.

The basketball player, who also wears the uniform of the Azerbaijani national team, added that they wanted to decide the fate of the pair in the second match, but they did not succeed:

"I don't want to talk much about this game. We went to Ganja to win. We intended to decide the fate of the pair in the second game. We won the first match. We set a goal to advance to the semi-finals by making the overall score 2:0. But of course, nothing is achieved easily. It is necessary to go through difficulties. The road to success is always difficult. We also knew that the away match would not be easy for us. It was a very difficult match. They play very well in front of their fans."

Let us remind that "Ordu" was superior in the first match of the 1/4 final stage with a score of 108:106. The team that will advance to the semi-finals will be determined in the third game.
