The Azerbaijan Basketball Cup starts today.
Idman.Biz reports that the first two games will be held within the 1/8 final stage of the tournament.
The first match of the day will be held between "Nakhchivan" and "Guba" teams at 17:00. At 20:00, "Neftchi" and "Lankaran" will face each other. Both matches will be held at the Baku Sports Palace.
The other games of the 1/8 finals will be played on January 14. On that day, the matches "Shaki" - "Sarhadchi" and NTD - "Sumgayit" will be held.
It should be noted that the winner of the "Nakhchivan" - "Guba" pair will face "Sabah" in the next stage, and the winner of the "Neftchi" - "Lankaran" match will face "Ganja". The winner of the "Shaki" - "Sarhadchi" match will face "Absheron Lions" in the 1/4 finals, and the stronger of the NTD - "Sumgayit" duel will clarify relations with "Ordu".
The 1/4 final stage games are scheduled to be held between February 18-22.
