On the second day of the competition, 2 members of the team stepped onto the mat.
Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg), although winning against Indian Rajnita Rajnita with a clear superiority (16:3), lost to American Alexis Marie Jania (0:11) in the semi-final. Our compatriot lost to German Elena Heike Brugger (0:7) in the bronze medal match.
Birgul Soltanova (68 kg) lost to Indian Nisha Nisha (1:8) in the 1/8 final.
Today, Nargiz Samadova (53 kg), Jala Aliyeva (57 kg), and Zahra Karimzade (72 kg) will join the competition.
