Wrestlers who will represent Azerbaijan at the U-20 World Championship have been determined

The wrestlers who will represent Azerbaijan at the U-20 World Wrestling Championship in Samokov, Bulgaria, have been determined.

"Report" reports that 23 wrestlers from our country will compete in the world championship, which will be held at "Samokov Arena".

Freestyle wrestlers will enter the mat in the first days of the competition. Under the leadership of head coach Arif Abdullayev, coaches Rovshan Hajiyev, Nazim Alijanov and Ashraf Aliyev, Vasif Bagirov (57 kg), Farhad Hajiyev (61 kg), Aga Gasimov (65 kg), Nurlan Agazade (70 kg), Aganazar Novruzov (74 kg), Muradkhan Omarov (79 kg), Tabriz Bayramov (86 kg), Anar Jafarli (92 kg), Ravan Musayev (97 kg) and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) will try to achieve success.

Later, in women's wrestling, Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg), Ruzanna Mammadova (62 kg) and Zahra Karimzade (72 kg) will join the competition under the leadership of acting head coach Togrul Asgarov, senior coach Rovshan Umudov.

In the last days of the World Championship, the relay will pass to Greco-Roman wrestlers. Under the leadership of head coach Nureddin Rajabov, coaches Emin Ahmadov, Turaj Huseynli and Zohrab Abbasov, Turan Dashdamirov (55 kg), Aykhan Javadov (60 kg), Tural Ahmadov (63 kg), Farim Mustafayev (67 kg), Seymur Gasimov (72 kg), Davud Mammadov (77 kg), Elmin Aliyev (82 kg), Orkhan Hajiyev (87 kg), Ismayil Rzayev (97 kg) and Mazaim Mardanov (130 kg) will represent our country.

The matches in the competition, which will be held from August 17 to 24, will start every day at 11:00 Baku time. The matches for medals will start at 19:00.

First-class referees Kamran Aliyev and Bashir Isazade will protect justice in the responsible competition.
