World Championship: Giorgi Meshvildishvili advances to the final

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) has advanced to the final at the World Championship in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

"Report" informs that the athlete faced Polish representative Robert Baran in the semi-final.

Meshvildishvili, who defeated his opponent, qualified for the decisive match.

Medal matches will take place tomorrow.

Nureddin Novruzov (61), Kenan Heybatov (70 kg), Arseniy Dzioyev (86 kg) lost in previous rounds.

It should be noted that the World Championship will end on September 21.
