Today, 3 Azerbaijani wrestlers will start competing at the World Championship held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
"Report" informs that Murad Mammadov (63 kg) will face Bayaman Karimov (Kyrgyzstan), Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) will face Neyser Marimon Hidalgo (Venezuela), and Islam Abbasov (87 kg) will face Stanislav Shafaranko (UWW) on the eighth day of the competition.
Today, Ulvi Ganizade (72 kg) will clarify his relationship with French representative Ibrahim Ghanem in the final match.
Nihat Mammadli (60 kg) and Murad Ahmadiev (97 kg) will compete for bronze medals.
It should be noted that the team currently has 4 medals. Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) won silver, while Eldeniz Azizli (55 kg), Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg) and Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) won bronze awards.
