The World Freestyle Wrestling Championship among youth (U-23) continues in Novi Sad, Serbia.
According to Idman.Biz, four Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers will compete today.
Ceyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg), Aykhan Abdullazade (65 kg), Ali Chokayev (86 kg) and Zafar Aliyev (97 kg) will join the competition.
At the same time, in the evening, the Azerbaijani team will have a chance to win two "gold" medals. Kenan Heybatov (70 kg) and Khetag Karsanov (125 kg) will test their strength in the final matches of their weight categories.
Currently, the Azerbaijani national team has four medals: two gold and two bronze. Elmir Aliyev (55 kg) and Ziya Babashov (63 kg) became world champions. Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg) and Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg) took third places.
