The Azerbaijan Beach Wrestling Championship started today.
Idman.biz reports that teenagers born in 2009-2010 competed on the first day of the competition held at the Beach Arena.
A total of 71 wrestlers competed in 4 weight categories. The athletes who climbed the podium were presented with medals and diplomas from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The medalists will be involved in the national beach wrestling team and will participate in the preparation processes for the Youth Summer Olympic Games to be held in Dakar, Senegal next year.
