The third stage of the Beach Wrestling World Series took place in Morocco.
Idman.biz reports that Vusal Aliyev (80 kg) and Ibrahim Yusubov (90 kg) represented our country at the competition held on the Casablanca beach under the leadership of head coach Oyan Nazariani.
Vusal successfully performed in the qualifying stage and qualified for Group B. Aliyev defeated wrestlers from Kenya, France and Serbia in the group, but lost to Greek Christos Christoforidis in the semifinals in the last seconds. Our wrestler won a bronze medal by defeating Frenchman Hugo Quenot.
Ibrahim Yusubov (90 kg) took 2nd place in the group and could not continue the fight.
