Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Ulvi Ganizade (72 kg) has reached the final at the World Championships held in Zagreb, Croatia.

According to Idman.biz, Ganizade defeated Uzbek Abdulla Aliyev 5:0 in the semi-final. His opponent in the final will be determined later.

Meanwhile, Greco-Roman wrestler Murad Ahmadiev (97 kg) was unable to reach the final at the World Championships in Zagreb. He lost to Russian Artur Sarkisyan (UWW) in the semi-final match by the last point rule (1:1).

Thus, Ahmadiev will continue to fight for a bronze medal at the World Championships.

The decisive matches for third place will take place tomorrow.

The team currently has four medals. Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) won silver, and Nuraddin Novruzov (61 kg), Arseni Djioyev (86 kg) and Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) won bronze medals.
