The U20 European Championship held in Caorle, Italy, has concluded.
According to Report, the medalists in freestyle wrestling at 61, 74, 86, 92, and 125 kg were determined on the final day of the competition.
Omar Gulmammadov (74 kg) won a bronze medal by defeating Ukrainian Bohdan Oliynik based on the last point principle (7:7).
Anar Jafarli (92 kg) surpassed Georgian Sandro Kurashvili with a score of 7:4, rising to the third step of the podium.
Bashir Verdiyev (61 kg) lost to Georgian Saba Gambashidze based on the last point principle (9:9) in the bronze medal match, while Muhammad Abbaszadeh (86 kg) lost to Armenian Razmik Yepremyan with a score of 0:3, settling for 5th place.
In the final match of the championship, Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) lost to Russian Inal Gagloev with a score of 0:11 and, as he did 2 years ago, hung a silver medal around his neck.
