The U-20 World Wrestling Championship continues in Samokov, Bulgaria.
Idman.biz reports that 4 more freestyle wrestlers from Azerbaijan joined the competition on the second day of the World Cup.
Anar Jafarli advanced to the semi-finals.

Vasif Bagirov defeated Brazilian Kayo Arona 6:1 and advanced to the 1/4 finals. However, he lost to Sumit Malik from India 2:9 on the way to the semi-finals.

Aga Gasimov lost to Russian Amal Candubaev (UWW) 0:10 in the qualifying stage.

Muradkhan Omarov defeated David Gil from Spain 9:2 in his debut, and David Tartan from Romania with a full advantage (10:0), and qualified for the 1/4 finals. Our wrestler lost to Said Saidulov (UWW) from Russia 0:10 in this stage.

Anar Jafarli defeated Orazmuhammet Hocaliyev from Turkmenistan 3:2 in the first stage. Our compatriot then defeated both Belarusian Aleksey Kulakov (UWW) and Sachin Sachin from India 10:0 and advanced to the semi-finals. Anar faced Kamil Kuruqliev from Kazakhstan on the way to the final. Our wrestler, who lost with a score of 6:9, was left out of the final.
The semi-finals will start at 18:00 Baku time.
