The U-20 European Wrestling Championship continues in Caorle, Italy.
Idman.biz reports that the first winners in freestyle wrestling were determined on the 6th day of the competition.
Three of our wrestlers competed for medals.

Vasif Bagirov faced Nika Tsangaladze (Georgia) in the final of the European Championship. Our wrestler, who won with a score of 9:6, took the highest step of the podium.

Muradkhan's opponent in the decisive match was Georgian Davit Chechelashvili. Our representative lost with a score of 0:10 and finished the championship in second place.
97 kg
Ravan Musayev, who finished the consolation match with a victory, competed for bronze against Russian Magomedgadji Magomedov. The opponent athlete won with a score of 6:0 and took 3rd place.
