The U-20 European Wrestling Championship continues in Caorle, Italy.
Idman.biz reports that freestyle wrestlers joined the competition on the 5th day of the tournament.
Two of our wrestlers who took to the mat qualified for the semifinals.

Vasif Baghirov defeated Turkish Nurettin Kapala (pin) and Hungarian Karoli Barata (10:0) ahead of time and advanced to the semifinals. Vasif will wrestle against Moldovan Ion Bulgaru in the semifinals.

Haji Karimov won against Italian Alessandro Nini with a score of 4:3, but lost to Georgian Lazare Gujaraidze by "pin" in the 1/4 finals.
7️0️ kg
Ismail Rahimli defeated Hungarian Jozef Tota with full advantage (10:0). However, he lost to Turkish Remzi Temur with a score of 0:4 in the 1/8 finals.

Muradkhan Omarov won against Turkish Huseyin Kabaktas 5:2 and Armenian Narek Nikogosyan 7:3 and qualified for the semifinals. Muradkhan will face Austrian Muxammad Inshapiyev in the semifinals.

Ravan Musayev won against Turkish Ibrahim Benekli with a score of 6:1, but lost to Georgian Konstantin Petriashvili with a score of 4:12 in the 1/4 finals.
