Aykhan Javadov defeated Levin Mayer of Switzerland (8:0), Lucas Grasso of France (9:1) and Ömer Altaş of Turkey (6:1) to reach the semi-finals. Aykhan defeated Vakhtang Lolua of Georgia 4:1 in the semi-final and earned the right to compete for the gold medal.

Faraim Mustafayev defeated Pavel Aleksey of Romania (1:1) and Dimitar Georgiev of Bulgaria (10:1) to qualify for the semi-finals. He lost to Mingiyan Goryayev (UWW) of Russia at this stage and was eliminated from the final. Farrahim will fight for bronze tomorrow.
