U-20 European Championship: Aykhan Javadov in the final, three wrestlers for bronze

Aykhan Javadov defeated Levin Mayer of Switzerland (8:0), Lucas Grasso of France (9:1) and Ömer Altaş of Turkey (6:1) to reach the semi-finals. Aykhan defeated Vakhtang Lolua of Georgia 4:1 in the semi-final and earned the right to compete for the gold medal.

Faraim Mustafayev defeated Pavel Aleksey of Romania (1:1) and Dimitar Georgiev of Bulgaria (10:1) to qualify for the semi-finals. He lost to Mingiyan Goryayev (UWW) of Russia at this stage and was eliminated from the final. Farrahim will fight for bronze tomorrow.

Seymur Gasimov eliminated Oliver Pada of Finland (12:0) and Tamerlan Taranukha of Russia (11:0) in succession, becoming a semi-finalist. Seymur could not continue his successful performance at this stage and lost to Gaspar Terteryan of Armenia with a score of 1:5.

Elmin Aliyev defeated Noah Walder of Austria (9:0), Tornike Chkhikvadze of Georgia (7:1) and Martik Petrosyan of Armenia (7:4) to reach the semi-finals. Elmin, who lost to Mikhail Shkarin (UWW) of Russia 1:4 in the semi-final, will compete for bronze tomorrow.
