Bashir Verdiyev defeated Turkish Yusuf Kulalı (5:2) and British Danush Jovkar (14:4) to advance to the semi-finals. He wrestled against Russian Adlan Saytiyev (UWW) in this stage. Bashir, who lost with a score of 5:15, will compete for bronze.
