U-17 World Wrestling Championship to be held in Baku in 2026

The United World Wrestling (UWW) has announced the cities that will host the world and continental wrestling championships in 2026.

According to Idman.biz, one of the main decisions was to hold the World Championship among wrestlers under 17 years old in Baku.

The competitions will be held from July 27 to August 2, 2026. This will be another major wrestling tournament to be held in the capital of Azerbaijan: Previously, our capital hosted the Greco-Roman Wrestling World Cup (2022) and the European Olympic Qualifying Tournament (2024).
