The U-17 European Wrestling Championship continues in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
Idman.biz reports that freestyle wrestlers joined the competition on the fifth day of the continental championship.
Three of them qualified for the semi-finals. Two of our wrestlers won and advanced to the finals.

Ravan Hasanzada defeated Przemysław Mrozek of Poland with a score of 7:0 and Attila Hegedus of Slovakia with a full advantage (10:0) to reach the semi-finals. Ravan faced Sadık Ateşoğulları of Turkey in the semi-finals. Our wrestler, who won with a score of 6:2, qualified for the final.

Ruslan Alizade defeated Ivan Jaksik of Slovakia with a full advantage (10:0) and Gleb Piatrov of Belarus with a score of 4:2 to qualify for the semi-finals. Ruslan faced Armen Papikyan of Armenia in the semi-finals. Ruslan, who was stronger with a score of 8:4, advanced to the final.

Although Tunar Nasibov won against Romanian Istvan Nagy with a score of 7:6 in the first stage, he lost to Ukrainian Ivan Zalisko with a score of 1:12 in the 1/8 final.

Hakim Tagiyev defeated Sebastian Brailescu of Romania with a "fall" and Halil Sadakov of Bulgaria with a score of 3:0 to reach the semi-finals. Hakim faced Murtaz Bagdavadze of Georgia in the semi-finals. Hakim lost 0:2 and will wrestle for bronze tomorrow.
The semi-finals will start at 18:45 Baku time.
It should be noted that today Nazrin Ahmadli (46 kg) won against Spasila Vasileva, a representative of North Macedonia, in the consolation match. She will wrestle with our compatriot Madina Bayramova, who represents Germany, in the bronze medal match.
