The U-17 European Wrestling Championship continues in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
Idman.biz reports that freestyle wrestlers joined the competition on the fifth day of the continental championship.
Three of them qualified for the semi-finals.

Ravan Hasanzade defeated Przemislav Mrozek from Poland with a score of 7:0, and Attila Hegedus from Slovakia with a full advantage (10:0) and advanced to the semi-finals. Ravan will face Sadık Ateşoğulları from Turkey in the semi-finals.

Ruslan Alizade defeated Ivan Jaksik from Slovakia with a full advantage (10:0) and Gleb Piatrov from Belarus with a score of 4:2 and qualified for the semi-finals. Ruslan will face Armen Papikyan from Armenia in the semi-finals.

Although Tunar Nasibov won against Istvan Nagy from Romania with a score of 7:6 in the first stage, he lost to Ivan Zalisko from Ukraine with a score of 1:12 in the 1/8 finals.

Although Ali Hajiyev won against Avet Engoyan from Armenia with a score of 4:3, he lost to Marshal Jones from Great Britain with a score of 0:10 in the 1/4 finals.

Hakim Tagiyev defeated Sebastian Brailescu from Romania by "pin" and Halil Sadakov from Bulgaria with a score of 3:0 and advanced to the semi-finals. Hakim will face Murtaz Bagdavadze from Georgia in the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will start at 18:45 Baku time.
It should be noted that today Nazrin Ahmadli (46 kg) won against Spasila Vasileva, the representative of North Macedonia, by "pin" in the consolation match. She will wrestle with our compatriot Madina Bayramova, who represents Germany, for the bronze medal.
