The U-17 European Wrestling Championship continues in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.

İdman.biz reports that freestyle wrestlers joined the competition in the last 5 weight categories on the sixth day of the continental championship.

3 athletes of the Azerbaijani national team qualified for the semi-finals. Of these,

Omar Usubov, who started the competition from the 1/4 finals, won against Ukrainian Daniil Lutsik with a score of 3:0 and advanced to the semi-finals. Omar faced Russian Umar Rabadanov in the semi-finals. Omar, who lost with a score of 5:12, will wrestle for bronze.

Although Ramal Mirhuseynov defeated Greek Mixail Kokologiannis with a full advantage (10:0), he lost to Russian Akhmed Naibarov 3:5 in the 1/4 finals.

Hasan Hasanov defeated Macedonian Mario Ananiev with a full advantage (11:0) and Armenian Razmik Voskanyan with a score of 3:1 and qualified for the semi-finals.
