Nurlan Agazade (70 kg) eliminated Canadian Cade Brown in his debut - 9:2. In the 1/8 finals, the national team member showed his strength to Kyrgyz Zalkarbek Tabaldiev - 5:2. Our wrestler defeated Chinese Tao Wei ahead of schedule (12:2) and advanced to the semi-finals. Nurlan lost to Moldovan Alexander Gaidarli one step away from the final - 4:7. Agazade will wrestle for a bronze medal tomorrow.
Aganazar Novruzov (74 kg) did not give Bulgarian Stiliyan Chorov any chance - 10:0. However, in the 1/8 finals, he lost to German U20 European champion Manuel Vagin with a score of 2:7.
Ravan Musayev (97 kg) defeated Hungarian Peter Zivnovsky with complete superiority (10:0), but failed to cope with Frenchman Ashab Dadaev in the 1/8 finals - 2:12.
Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) eliminated Chinese Ruljie Lin with a "touch" at the start. Our compatriot was also stronger than Georgian Alexandre Abramishvili - 5:0. Yusif wrestled with Iranian Abolfazl Nejad in the semi-finals. The wrestlers did not use any tricks in the match. The opponent advanced to the final based on the last point principle (1:1). Dursunov will compete for third place tomorrow.
