A ranking tournament will be held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, from July 17 to 20. Sport24.az reports that our freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers will represent our country in the last ranking competition of the year.
Members of the national freestyle wrestling team will take to the mat on the first two days of the tournament, which will be held at the BOK Sports Palace. Under the leadership of head coach Khetaq Gazyumov and senior coach Jabrayil Hasanov, Islam Bazarqanov (57 kg), Ali Rahimzade (65 kg), Kenan Heybatov (70 kg), Magomed-Bashir Khaniyev (74 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg), Osman Nurmagomedov, Abubakr Abakarov (both 92 kg) and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) will compete.
Our Greco-Roman wrestlers will perform in the next 2 days. Under the leadership of head coach Aleksandr Tarakanov, senior coach Rovshan Bayramov, coaches Hasan Aliyev and Kamran Mammadov, Nihat Mammadli, Ilkin Gurbanov (both 60 kg), Ziya Babashov (63 kg), Farid Khalilov (67 kg), Hasrat Jafarov, Ruslan Nurullayev (both 72 kg), Sanan Suleymanov, Ulvu Ganizade (both 77 kg), Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg), Islam Abbasov (87 kg), Murad Ahmadiev, Arif Niftullayev (both 97 kg), Beka Kandelaki and Sarkhan Mammadov (both 130 kg) will try to achieve success.
Kamran Aliyev, a first-class judge, will ensure justice in the ranking tournament.
