Young talents are growing up in the Azerbaijani national fencing team of junior and young girls.
This was stated by the head coach of the team, Javanshir Safarov, in an interview with "Report".
He commented on the fact that junior sabre fencers won 4 medals at the "European CC Tbilisi-2025" international tournament held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia:
"Our team made successful performances at the international tournament held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. We took first place in the team competition, ahead of the teams of Kazakhstan and Georgia. Our sabre fencers showed enough determination in the meetings. Technical skill and team spirit played a key role in our victories. We showed once again that we have a competitive team, young talents are growing up. I am sure that we will continue to represent our country adequately in the international arena."
It should be noted that our representatives finished the competition with 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal.
