Azerbaijani arm wrestler Tabriz Safarov has been disqualified for two years.
Idman.Biz reports that the decision was made by the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA).
He faced this situation for violating anti-doping rules. T.Safarov received a 24-month sentence for the presence and use of a prohibited substance (ephedrine) in his sample.
The penalty, which came into effect on September 9, will end in 2027.
