The European Wrestling Championship continues in Tirana.
Apasport.az reports that Rıza Kayaalp, a member of the Turkish national team, stepped onto the mat on the second day of the competition.
The athlete, competing in the 130 kg weight category, faced his Hungarian opponent Darius Vitek in the final.
The match ended with Kayaalp's victory with a score of 7:1, and he finished the competition as a champion.
It should be noted that this victory is a record indicator, being the 13th gold medal of the Turkish wrestler in the European Championships.
