Ravin Alimammadov Breaks Record and Wins Gold Medal at European Championship

Ravin Alimammadov, a member of our national weightlifting team, has won the European Championship held in Durrës, Albania.

Idman.Biz reports that Ravin, competing in the 79 kg weight category, managed to lift 151 kg in the snatch.

Alimammadov lifted 189 kg in the clean and jerk, achieving a total result of 340 kg.

Thus, Ravin Alimammadov won a bronze medal in the snatch and a gold medal in the clean and jerk, becoming the overall winner of the European Championship.

Our representative also set a European Championship record in the clean and jerk and in total.
