It is a great honor to be a European champion. Our efforts were not in vain.
"Report" reports that this was stated by our freestyle wrestler Ravan Hasanov in his statement to journalists, who won a gold medal in the 48 kg weight category at the U-17 European Championship in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
"We held 3 training camps at the Khachmaz Olympic Sports Complex. These training camps were difficult. I thank the coaching staff. We could not have won without their efforts. The World Championship is ahead. My goal is to become a world champion," the athlete said.
