Rafiq Huseynov, bronze medalist of the Tokyo Olympics, 2-time world and 3-time European champion, winner of the Islamic Solidarity Games, and silver medalist of the European Games, has ended his sports career.
The Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation expresses its gratitude to Rafiq Huseynov for his contribution to the country's wrestling and for being a source of inspiration for young wrestlers with his achievements.
It should be noted that Rafiq Huseynov will now serve as the coordinator for Greco-Roman wrestling at the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation.
