A new appointment has been made to the position of Secretary General in the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AWF). Sport24.az reports that Parvin Piriyev has been appointed as the new Secretary General of the AWF.
Parvin Piriyev was born in Baku in 1992. From 2009 to 2013, he studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a degree in "Business Administration".
In different years, he worked in public relations and marketing at the National Council of Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan, the "Baku 2015" European Games, the Azerbaijan Fencing Federation and the Azerbaijan Badminton Federation. In his later career, he worked as a marketing director and then as an executive director at the "Sabah" Football Club. He has nearly 10 years of experience in organizing local and international sports projects.
Parvin Piriyev is a participant in the 44-day Patriotic War. He is married and has one child.
