Our wrestlers won 4 medals at the Universiade of Turkic-Speaking Countries - PHOTO

Wrestling competitions have started in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, as part of the Universiade of Turkic-Speaking Countries.

İdman.biz reports that competitions in 6 weight categories took place today in the sports hall of the "Ruh Ordo" cultural center.

Four of our wrestlers climbed the podium. Among our Greco-Roman wrestlers, Vadat Gasimli (60 kg) won gold, Ali Guliyev (97 kg) won silver, and Javad Mammadov (77 kg) won bronze. In freestyle wrestling, Ramik Heybatov (74 kg) took third place.

The wrestling competitions at the Universiade will end tomorrow.
