The preparation of national teams of different age groups for the upcoming important competitions continues intensively. Sport24.az reports that the national team of adults in Greco-Roman wrestling is holding a training camp in Vladikavkaz.
Our U20 team, after completing its performance at the "Champions" tournament held in Antalya, has started the next preparation process without a break. The team will hold a training camp at the Gakh Olympic Sports Complex from May 11 to 24. The next training camp will be held from May 27 to June 9 at the Khachmaz Olympic Sports Complex.
Freestyle wrestlers in the same age group will also go to Gakh. However, the regional training camp of our U20 national team in this sport covers the period from May 28 to June 11. Until then, training will be held in Baku.
Our adult freestyle wrestling team will start its next training camp on May 14 at the Guba Olympic Sports Complex. The Turkish national team will also participate in the two-week preparation process.
Our female wrestlers are divided into two groups. The U20 and adult team is based in the Guba Olympic Sports Complex, and our U15 and U17 national teams are based in the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex. Both training camps will last from May 11 to 24.
Our U17 national freestyle wrestling team has been training at the Khachmaz Olympic Sports Complex since May 7. The preparation process, which is held jointly with the relevant team from Uzbekistan, will end on the 21st of the month.
