Our national Greco-Roman wrestling team has started its next training camp. Sport24.az reports that our team, which completed the Vladikavkaz training camp, went to Guba after a few days of break.
Our team will hold a training camp in the Northern region together with the US national team. The preparation process, which started today, will last until June 6.
Eldaniz Azizli, Elmir Aliyev, Rashad Mammadov (all 55 kg), Nihat Mammadli, Nihad Guluzade, Ilkin Gurbanov, Huseyn Garibov (all 60 kg), Murad Mammadov, Ziya Babashov, Farid Bakhishli (all 63 kg), Hasrat Jafarov, Farid Khalilov, Muhammad Shukarzade (all 67 kg), Ulvu Ganizade, Ruslan Nurullayev (both 72 kg), Sanan Suleymanov, Khassay Hasanli (both 77 kg), Gurban Gurbanov, Tuncay Vazirzade (both 82 kg), Islam Abbasov, Rafig Huseynov (both 87 kg), Arif Niftullayev, Murad Ahmadiev, Muhammad Ahmadiev (all 97 kg), Beka Kandelaki and Sarkhan Mammadov (both 130 kg) are participating in the training camp under the leadership of head coach Aleksandr Tarakanov, senior coach Rovshan Bayramov, coaches Hasan Aliyev and Kamran Mammadov.
The Guba training camp is preparatory in nature for the last ranking tournament of the year to be held in Hungary on July 17-20, as well as the World Championship to be held in Croatia on September 13-21.
