Our national Greco-Roman wrestling team has started its next training camp.
"Report" informs, referring to the press service of the Wrestling Federation, that our team, which completed the training camp in Vladikavkaz, went to Guba after a few days break.
Azerbaijani wrestlers, together with the US national team, will hold a training camp in the Northern region. The preparation process, which started today, will last until June 6.
Under the leadership of head coach Alexander Tarakanov, senior coach Rovshan Bayramov, coaches Hasan Aliyev and Kamran Mammadov, Eldeniz Azizli, Elmir Aliyev, Rashad Mammadov (all 55 kg), Nihat Mammadli, Nihad Guluzade, Ilkin Gurbanov, Huseyn Garibov (all 60 kg), Murad Mammadov, Ziya Babashov, Farid Bakhishli (all 63 kg), Hasrat Jafarov, Farid Khalilov, Muhammad Shukurzade (all 67 kg), Ulvu Ganizade, Ruslan Nurullayev (both 72 kg), Sanan Suleymanov, Khassay Hasanli (both 77 kg), Gurban Gurbanov, Tuncay Vazirzade (both 82 kg), Islam Abbasov, Rafig Huseynov (both 87 kg), Arif Niftullayev, Murad Ahmadiev, Muhammad Ahmadiev (all 97 kg), Beka Kandelaki and Sarkhan Mammadov (both 130 kg) are participating in the training camp.
It should be noted that the Guba training camp is preparatory in nature for the final ranking tournament of the year, which will be held in Hungary on July 17-20, as well as for the World Championship to be held in Croatia on September 13-21.
