Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers, who performed successfully at the World Championship held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, have returned to their homeland.
"Report" informs that they were met by journalists and representatives of the public at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
It should be noted that the national team took second place in the team score with 89 points. Our wrestlers won 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals at the World Championships. Ulvi Ganizade (72 kg) won gold, Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) silver, Eldaniz Azizli (55 kg) and Murad Ahmadiev (92 kg) won bronze medals.
